Euro Pizza & Hotel de Goudfazant - If you want to discover another part of Amsterdam. Both located in Amsterdam Noord, an upcoming and trendy neighborhood.
Cafe Rijsel - traditional French kitchen
Cantine de Caron - French kitchen
Cafe Binnenvisser - A favorite among Amsterdammers
Srikandi - traditional and very good, just around the corner of the Rijksmuseum
Typically Dutch. After seeing the potatoe eaters you are warnd about Dutch cuisine. But if you do want to try we recommend the following places to experience Dutch hearty meals. 
D' Vijff Vlieghen - If you want to experience traditional Dutch cuisine in a 17th Century atmosphere.
'T Heemelrijck - They serve typical Dutch meals like hotchpotch.

Vermeer -
Named after the artist, graceful restaurant that uses local organic ingredients
De Kas - Located in former greenhouse, boosts 1 Michelin star
Toscanini - Most incredible Italian (Probably you need to make a reservation before hand)
Rijks Restaurant - One Michelin star, dishes inspired by paintings in Rijksmuseum

FOER - Vegetarian restaurant and offers a great non-alcoholic drink menu to accompany the dishes




Dutch Cafés & Apple Pie

Cafe 't Papeneiland -  Since 1642, very good apple pie and typical Dutch atmosphere. Located at Noordermarkt, on Saturday's there is a local farmer market. A local's favourite market.
Cafe de Hegenraad - Nothing fancy, just a typical cosy Dutch café at Noordermarkt.
Koffiehuis de Hoek - very informal but great place for coffee and amazing apple pie.
De Engelse Reet - Do you love authentic places and beer? Go here! 
Café de Pels - 'The artists and intellectual cafe', go here for a late breakfast to read a newspaper and connect with Amsterdammers.
Café Welling - An Amsterdam hidden gem. Located behind the Concertgebouw, this is the place where writers and musicians come together to have a drink.



Museums & Must sees

Museum Van Loon - Wonderful 17th century canal house. 
Willet Holthuysen - Another stunning 17th century canal house
De Hollandse Manege - A 9th century riding school in the middle of the city. Go here if you love a special high tea.
Begijnhof - Located behind a hidden door at the Spui is a very charming beguinage. 
Rijksmuseum - Home of the Dutch masters Rembrandt and  Vermeer, do we need to say more? Don't forget to visit its stunning library. 
Collection Six - Breath taking art collection including one of Rembrandt most beautiful portraits... This museum is an actual house where the Six family still resides. A visit is free of charge, just schedule your visit in advance: https://collectiesix.nl/
